THE INSIGHT When Singaporeans leave home — for university overseas, for the first job in another city, for the chapter that takes them away — what they miss isn't the place. It's the food made by the people who love them. The home-cooked taste no airport meal or instant noodle can replicate.

The tingkat is the object that has carried that love for generations. From kitchen to worksite, from mother to schoolchild, from one home to one person who needed reminding of where they belonged.

THE IDEA A Tingkat made for the moment Singaporeans leave. Cultural heritage built to travel — launched at Changi Airport, where those goodbyes actually happen.

THE EXECUTION The hero film follows a tingkat delivery man — a father — preparing meals on the eve of his daughter's departure for overseas study. The story is small, specific, and recognisable to anyone who has watched a parent quietly pack the things their child won't think to bring. The Tingkat is the object that carries everything left unsaid.

Released through Changi Airport's owned channels and supported by OOH placements across the terminals where the actual moments of departure happen. For inbound and outbound travellers, the product launched as part of the broader Changi Editions × Triologie collection — silk scarves, coasters, travel pouches — available via Purchase-with-Purchase redemption: S$19.90 with S$50 spend at any airport retailer, S$32.90 retail.
